Performance score
Our performance score is based on selected tests to the latest Australian standard, AS/NZS 2008:2013, which we think is better at targeting issues around stability and harness safety than the mandatory standard.
enter value/s in increments of i between 20 and 100
Overall ease of use score
We rate seat recline functions, using the harness, loading and unloading the basket, using the brakes and manoeuvring. We fold and unfold the strollers, push them over rough terrain, up and down stairs and through doorways, and see how well they fit into a car boot. Overall ease of use is an average of all the scores.

Passed key safety tests
Based on the Australian standard for strollers, AS/NZS 2088:2013. We check if the harness straps are safe; the child is securely restrained; folding mechanisms are safe and secure; and there are no possible entrapment points for heads, fingers or limbs. We also test the stability of the stroller and that the brakes work well.
Suitable for newborn
Some models recline flat or come with a bassinet, so are ready to use from birth. Note: In some cases you may be able to buy a bassinet separately at additional cost, or as part of a bundle.
Stroller weight (kg)
Including supplied accessories, rounded to the nearest 0.1kg.

Passed durability tests
Durability tests are based on Australian standards. All the strollers are attached to a machine that continuously simulates the action of mounting a kerb. New brands are placed on our 'rolling road' rig for 64 hours at a speed of 5km/h. These tests show whether anything breaks, falls off or stops working properly after regular use.
Ease of manoeuvring score
How easy the stroller is to push, pull and steer. We take it through doors, up and down stairs and over rough terrain.
enter value/s in increments of i between 45 and 75
Ease of folding/unfolding and carrying score
We rate how easy it is to fold/unfold and carry the pram.

Availability
A Similar model is identical in most aspects except for a few. This means that a majority of its test results are identical so you can reasonably expect to get the same results from the model we tested, but for those aspects which aren't identical, we'll note these as "Not Tested" in the Compare tables.
A Tested model refers to a model that is still current and available in the Australian market. You should be able to order this model through your local retailer, or find it online.
These models can't be found in retailers or online or are no longer manufactured. You may still find these models on second hand websites, or in second hand dealers. Test methods may change over time, so criteria which can't be directly compared will contain an N/A.
An Identical model is exactly that. Performance characteristics will be identical and the only difference will be something trivial such as colour, which won't have an impact on performance.
These are models we haven't yet tested but that are available.
